I came to Canada and I think it was the summer of 1970 from 
England with my mom. It was a dream to be a kid here 
because the feeling of safety was all around you. I mean 
you could get on your bike early in the morning, with all 
the rest of your friends, and just bike around the city and 
it was ideal, it really was like Huckleberry Finn summers 
for me.
