City of Oshawa Development Charge Grant Program
The City of Oshawa may provide a grant towards the amount of the applicable City of Oshawa Development Charges payable for residential development within the Downtown Shoulder Area Renaissance Community Improvement Area.
This grant program is intended to assist property owners with financing the construction of new residential units within the Downtown Shoulder Area Renaissance Community Improvement Area. Grants for residential development will be provided on a sliding scale based upon meeting performance criteria.
City of Oshawa Building Permit Fee Grant Program
The City of Oshawa may provide a grant for 50% of the City of Oshawa Building Permit Fee for residential development within the Downtown Shoulder Area Renaissance Community Improvement Area to a maximum of $50,000.
This grant program is intended to assist property owners with financing the construction of new residential units within the Downtown Shoulder Area Renaissance Community Improvement Area by providing a grant equivalent to 50% of the amount of the applicable City of Oshawa Building Permit Fee.
Places to Grow Grant Program
The City of Oshawa may provide a grant towards the amount of the applicable Region of Durham Development Charges payable for residential development within the Downtown Shoulder Area Renaissance Community Improvement Area.
This grant program is intended to assist property owners with financing the construction of new residential units within the Downtown Shoulder Area Renaissance Community Area. Grants for residential development will be provided on a sliding scale based upon performance criteria.
