| Eleven in Motion was conceived from a desire to bring the art of abstract animation to a greater level of public recognition. Inspired by the actions of the Painters Eleven, the Toronto Animated Image Society has brought together 11 independent Canadian animators on this project. The animators have researched and chosen for themselves a member of the Painters 11 to whom they feel a connection, and have created a short animated work that draws from, responds to, or is inspired by a seminal work of their selected artist.
