Fire Services - Support Services
Administration
The Administration division consists of the Fire Chief, two Deputy Fire Chiefs and administrative staff. The Fire Chief is responsible for the overall operation of Fire Services as well as Budget and finance, Emergency Planning and Labour Relations. The Deputy Chief of Operations is responsible for Fire Operations, Communications and Training. The Deputy Chief of Support Services is responsible for Fire Prevention, Public Education, Administration, Facility Maintenance and Mechanical division. 202 staff are employed over the various divisions within Oshawa Fire Services reporting to the respective Deputy Chiefs.
