Welcome to the Oshawa Fire Services web page. I invite you to read through the various safety related articles and pass these along to your family and friends. The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office views public education as the primary step towards providing fire safety. Therefore, the use of this web page allows us to reach a large audience with a variety of topics related to your safety.
Oshawa Fire Services enjoys a rich heritage beginning well over a century ago. We’ve grown substantially over the years in order to provide protection to our ever developing city. Currently there are over 202 dedicated staff operating within our many divisions. Our staff operates Fire Suppression services out of 5 fire stations strategically located to provide a prompt response time. We respond to a variety of emergent calls ranging from fires, medical assists, motor vehicle accidents and various specialized types of rescues. Staff within all divisions are constantly training within their specific disciplines in order to provide our residents and visitors with a professional timely level of service. We are proud of the men and women who work for Oshawa Fire Services and the skills and services they provide on a daily basis.
