Oshawa Youth Council (OYC)
The City of Oshawa is recruiting youth in Grades 5 to 12 to serve on the newly formed Oshawa Youth Council.
Our goals for the 2011/2012 season include:
- Development of OYC Principles & Practices
- Youth Development Opportunities
- Getting the “Word Out” about the OYC
- Participation in our Community
- Activities & Events
- Education & Awareness of Youth Issues
If you are interested in serving on the OYC, please complete and submit the application form.
Report to Council
This is great opportunity for youth to have a voice in our community and shape this Council for years to come! Time spent on the council will count for community service hours.
