We are always looking for volunteers to assist with City Events. Click on the links below for more information on volunteer opportunities pertaining to each of our events.

RECREATION PROGRAMS
Volunteers,14 years and older,can assist with the following recreation programs:
- Preschool
- Fitness & Wellness
- Swimming
- General Interest
- Sports
- Arts, Dance or Drama
- Skating and Hockey
- Youth Programming
Volunteer positions in recreation are perfect for high school students, looking to complete their 40 hours of community service.
Next recruitment for volunteers will be for the Fall 2013 session. Deadline for applications is September 13, 2013.
How to volunteer:
- You must be 14 years and older.
- Complete a Volunteer Placement Form and return it to one of the City’s recreation facilities (listed below).
- Selected volunteers will be contacted to attend an orientation and interview session. These are scheduled in fall and winter.
- Criminal Information Records are required. At the orientation, potential volunteers will be issued a letter that can be submitted to the police requesting a CIR.
