The Civic Recreation Complex has the potential to become one of Ontario's most sought after sport training and competition facilities for a variety of field and ball sports and for the track and field community.

The Civic Recreation Complex is a family destination. There are plenty of things for the family to do while athletes are training or playing in a tournament. Join in a leisure swim, or play in the children’s playground.

Civic Fieldhouse

• An international FIFA size 100 metre x 70 metre artificial turf playing field; can be configured into two or four fields with power assisted curtaining
• Peak roof height – 50’
• Permanent full field markings for international soccer, men’s field lacrosse and for women’s field lacrosse
• Quarter field markings for soccer
• One full field and four quarter field scoreboards
• Climate-controlled for warm weather use
• Public address system
• Two batting cages
• One pitcher’s mound
• Four Changerooms, two referee rooms, two public washrooms
• Temporary storage cubicles for sport teams and for individuals
• Perimeter spectator seating – bleacher stands can accommodate approximately 200
• Wireless throughout

Outdoor Sport Fields

• Two regulation size artificial turf multi-purpose fields with lights
• Three natural turf multi-purpose fields – two with lights
• Outdoor eight-lane 400 metre Mondo track with digital photo finish and timing system; steeplechase pit
• Mondo surface on all running tracks and fans: one high jump, two long and two triple jumps, one pole vault, one javelin
• Shot put throwing circle and cage
• Discus and hammer throwing circle and cage
• Equipment for field events – shot put, discus, javelin, long and high jump, steeplechase, hurdles, pole vault
• Stadium features seating capacity of 2,000, full size scoreboard, press box, public address system/sound system, four changerooms, officials room, meeting room, concession stand, first aid room
