The City of Oshawa operates four (4) arenas and a total of eight (8) ice surfaces. Ice is maintained from September – May in all facilities. The new Legends Centre maintains ice year-round.
During the spring and summer months arena floors at many arenas become available for lacrosse, ball hockey and in-line skating.

Ice Allocation Policy
The City of Oshawa distributes ice to its major (minor and adult organizations and leagues) and minor (boards of education, LOSSA, casual requests) ice users following the guidelines outlined in its Ice Allocation Policy. A combination of factors are reviewed in order to allocate ice in a fair and equitable manner. Please review the Ice Allocation Policy for details.

Arena Floor Rentals

Insurance Rates are now applied to all ice contracts.
- Occasional High Risk Insurance is applied for ice hockey ($3.08/hour), plus PST.
- Medium Risk Insurance is applied for pleasure skating ($1.54/hour), plus PST.
