Indoor Sports Facility Rentals

Indoor Track at the Civic Recreation Complex

The indoor track located in the Civic Dome is a 4-lane, 225 metre rubberized surface, making it a popular training facility for Track Clubs and Sports Teams. Any Club with greater than 5 participants who wish to train on the track must submit an application to reserve a lane. There are designated times for team usage. Space is limited and teams will only be admitted if they have a permit for use. General Admission fees apply for all participants.

Dome Floor at the Civic Recreation Complex

The Civic Dome floor, located inside the track, has a surface area of approximately 30,000 sq ft and is over 50 ft in height. This area is ideal for practices and team training for soccer, lacrosse, football and baseball. The indoor track and stretching areas can be used in conjunction with your rental.

Availability: Saturday and Sunday evenings from September to April

Rate for Adult groups: $133.90/hour (plus applicable taxes)

Rate for Child/Youth groups: $111.24/hour (plus applicable taxes)

Badminton, Tennis and Squash Courts

The Civic Recreation Complex has the following indoor courts available for rent.

• 2 indoor badminton courts
• 4 indoor tennis courts
• 2 international squash courts

Civic Dome Closures Due to High Heat - Summer Months

During the summer months, please be advised that the Civic Dome will be closed when the temperature reaches 90 degrees Farenheit or above. If you plan on using the Dome track, tennis courts or badminton courts, please call the Civic Reception Desk in advance at 905-436-5454 for a status update.  

Racquet Sport Fees

Arena Floor Rentals

The City of Oshawa has 5 arena floors available to rent from May to August. Fees range from $63.86/hour to $88.07/hour (plus applicable taxes). For more information please contact the Facility Booking Office at 905-436-3888.

Gymnasium Rentals

Gymnasiums are available to rent at Legends Centre, Northview Community Centre, and on evenings and weekends only at GL Roberts (through South Oshawa Community Centre).

• Half Gym: $27.58/hour (plus applicable taxes). Minimum 2 hour booking.
• Full Gym: $58.35/hour (plus applicable taxes). Minimum 2 hour booking.
