All room rentals include set up to your requirements and audio visual equipment is available for use at an additional fee.

Birthday Party Packages

City of Oshawa recreation facilities offer a variety of themed and activity-specific birthday party packages. From dance, pottery, sports and swimming, there's a party perfect for everyone. For information on booking your birthday party, please contact the individual recreation facility.

• Auditorium - Level 2 Classification (Capacity: 120). An excellent venue for presentations requiring a theatre style setting

Children's Arena

• 1 Meeting Room - Level 1 Classification (Capacity: 50). Ideal for birthday party rentals in conjunction with an exclusive ice rental.
• A kitchen area is directly accessible to this room.
• Rental of this facility does not include the set-up of tables and chairs.
• Facility is wheelchair accessible.

Civic Recreation Complex

Northview Community Centre

• 4 Meeting Rooms (Capacities: 25 in each, 100 combined). Ideal for birthday party rentals in conjunction with an exclusive gymnasium rental. These rooms are classified as Level 1. When 2 rooms are combined, Level 2 pricing applies. A combination of all 4 rooms results in Premium pricing.
• Boardroom - Level 1 Classification (Capacity: 15)
• Gymnasium - Premium Classification (Capacity: 325). Washrooms and kitchen are directly accessible to the gym.
• Rental of this facility does not include the set-up of tables and chairs.
• Parking for 150 cars

South Oshawa Community Centre

• 2 Meeting Rooms (Capacities: 35 in each, 75 combined). The rooms feature a large window to an outdoor patio and a full kitchen.
• Meeting Rooms are classified as Level 1. With the addition of the Kitchen, premium prices apply.
• 1 Youth Room (Capacity: 50). Premium prices apply.
