Snow Clearing Assistance Program

The City of Oshawa offers a snow clearing service to residents over the age of 65 and people with disabilities. This service assists registered individuals with their snow removal responsibilities on sidewalks and at the ends of driveways. This service will commence as soon as possible following a storm and only when there is more than 2 cm (about 1") of snow.

To apply for this service please call 905-436-3311, Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.

If you are already registered for this service, a renewal application will be mailed to you in advance of the winter season.

To assist with snow removal please ensure that your house number is clearly visible during snow clearing periods.
