Snow Clearing Assistance Program
The City of Oshawa provides snow clearing assistance to residents over the age of 65 and people with disabilities who have no able bodied residents living in the household.
This program assists registered individuals with their snow removal responsibilities on sidewalks and at the ends of driveways. This service will commence as soon as practical following a snowfall of more than 2.5 cm (about 1") of snow. The house number must be clearly visible and well lit (as this is a 24 hour operation and much of the work is performed after dark).

Residents who received assistance last year will receive a renewal letter in October.
