Beginning Monday, October 3, badminton will be available in the gymnasiums at Legends Centre and South Oshawa Community Centre and in the Civic Fieldhouse on the artificial turf. Badminton will be available as a drop-in program during daytime hours Monday to Friday. Badminton court bookings will be available during the evenings and all day Saturday and Sunday.
Please note that badminton programming will no longer be available in the Civic Dome as the badminton courts have been converted into a tennis court to respond to the growing demand for tennis.
The Civic Dome will be closed from 7:30 am. to 4:30 p.m. on October 25 and 28 for L.O.S.S.A. Tennis Finals. Patrons wishing to use the track may access the indoor fieldhouse as an alternative and walk the perimeter during these hours.
The Northview Community Centre will be undergoing a roof replacement throughout the upcoming months. During this time the facility will remain open. Minor disruptions to services may occur but will be kept to a minimum and only as required.
