Since 1994, the City of Oshawa has been Growing with Pride. Local community beautification programs have resulted in national recognition for our citizens.
The City has been recognized for its heritage management, environmental awareness and municipal beautification, none of which would have been made possible without community involvement. Community volunteer efforts, showcasing our civic pride, have included clean- ups, public plantings, front garden and festive lighting competitions.
