The Heat
The Durham Region Police Band, The Heat is a contemporary rock band. With the assistance of its supporters, the band brings its “Bullies Ain’t Tough” tour and CD to 10000 school students each year, free of charge.

Rory has been playing guitar and professionally training his pipes for over a decade. A mesh of grungy acoustic rock, rootsy blues and introspective folk married to Rory’s signature vocal style leaves the audience spellbound.

Sacha is a singer/songwriter from Oshawa. She is well known for her anti bullying theme “stix and stones”. She has been playing festivals around Ontario and in the US as well. Her video for Stix and Stones will be released soon.

We are an American/Folk Country Rock band from the Durham Region. We play a lot of shows in Oshawa, Whitby and Bowmanville as well as other places in Ontario. We have always wanted to be involved in a great Oshawa event like Canada Day.
