Title:Oshawa Community Museum Robinson House Photography & Poetry Contests

In anticipation of the release of a book, detailing the history of Robinson House, the
Oshawa Community Museum and Archives is encouraging amateur photographers and poets to get creative and enter our contests.

The Oshawa Community Museum is holding a photo contest, looking for the best original photographs of Robinson House. The Museum is  also hosting a contest for the best original poem about Robinson House, its history, its inhabitants, or about its history as a community museum.

Both contests close May 1, 2013. There will be one winner chosen for each contest, and prizes include a copy of the final publication in which the winning submission is included, a $50 honorarium, a one year complimentary individual membership to the Oshawa Historical Society, and mention in Historical Happenings, the Oshawa
Historical Society’s quarterly newsletter.
