The splash pad at Lakeview Park is located just east of the existing children's playground, and features soft rubberized paving and a cane spray feature. In the case of a heat event, operational hours will be extended until dusk.
Splash Pad Rules of Use
- When using the splash pad, children MUST be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
- To prevent fouling of the splash pad, children must be appropriately attired for their age and continence ability (swim diapers are recommended).
- For your safety please wear protective footwear such as water shoes or sandals while using the splash pad.
- Glass, food or drinks are NOT allowed on the splash pad or in the immediate area surrounding the splash pad.
- DO NOT drink splash pad water.
- Do not use the splash pad if you have an open sore, rash are experiencing nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.
- No person shall pollute the water or splash pad surface in any manner or on the immediate area surrounding the splash pad.
- No person shall engage in boisterous play in or about the splash pad.
COVID-19 Update
City staff will monitor activity on a rotating basis at splash pads and will clean and disinfect the splash pad during each visit. Please respect posted signage indicating capacity and physical distancing. Splash pad capacity: 10. Splash pad size: 1046 square feet.
NOTICE: Will be closing for construction as part of the Lakeview Park Playground and Splash pad redevelopment effective Tuesday, August 4, 2020 until Summer 2021.
