The health and safety of residents is the Region of Durham’s top priority as the COVID-19 (also referred to as Novel Coronavirus) situation continues to evolve.
The Region of Durham is actively monitoring the situation and offers the following information to residents:

The Special Meeting of Council previously scheduled for Tuesday, March 24 has been cancelled in response to COVID-19. The meeting will be rescheduled and delegation details will be shared at that time. Paper versions of the feedback form will be available at Service Oshawa upon the reopening of City Hall to the public.

The Council of The Corporation of the City of Oshawa passed Interim Control By-law 25-2020 on the 24th day of February, 2020 relating to the area known as the Northwood Business Park.

The City of Oshawa is looking for feedback from the community on the location of a Rainbow Crosswalk in Oshawa.
The three locations being considered for the Rainbow Crosswalk are:

Durham Region is developing a Community Safety and Well-Being Plan (CSWP), as required by the new legislative amendments to the Police Services Act. This will be undertaken in a collaborative manner with Durham Regional Police Service, a steering committee, community partners and members of the public.
