Collaborative efforts are being made across the City of Oshawa and Durham Region to support our friends and neighbours who are most vulnerable to the threat of COVID-19.

COVID-19 Update 3: Council and Committee meeting cancellations

In response to the Province of Ontario declaring a state of emergency to help combat the spread of COVID-19, the City of Oshawa has taken additional measures and cancelled Council and other Committee meetings up until April 5.

COVID-19 Update 2: City Hall, Animal Services closed to the public; Service Oshawa available online and over the telephone during business hours

Further to temporary preventative measures taken on Friday, March 13 and the closure of community and recreation facilities and programs, the City of Oshawa is now advising of the closure of City Hall and Oshawa Animal Services to the public.

The City of Oshawa is looking for feedback from the community on the location of a Rainbow Crosswalk in Oshawa.
The three locations being considered for the Rainbow Crosswalk are:
- Option A – main entrance to City Hall: the pedestrian crosswalk that is adjacent to the main entrance to City Hall and The Robert McLaughlin Art Gallery.
