Individuals looking to run for a local office or school board trustee position or advertise in support or opposition of a candidate in the 2022 Municipal & School Board Elections can now file with the City Clerk.

Interested individuals can file nomination for the following offices with the City Clerk:

The nomination period for the 2022 Municipal & School Board Elections commences on Monday, May 2, 2022 and continues until Nomination Day, Friday, August 19, 2022.

Nominations may be filed with City Clerk Services (5th Floor, Rundle Tower, City Hall, 50 Centre St. S., Oshawa) between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday or on Nomination Day between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

The 2022 Municipal and School Board Election is Monday, October 24 and candidate registration for municipal council or school board positions opens Monday, May 2.
