The City has prepared a summary of election sign standards for reference purposes.
The following is for reference purposes only; please refer to the applicable by-law for a comprehensive account of relevant standards.
Signs can be placed starting on Monday, September 12, 2022 for the 2022 Municipal & School Board Elections. Signs must be removed by Monday, October 31, 2022.
Signs can be placed starting the day on which the writ of the election is issued. Signs must be removed seven days following the last polling day.

2022 Provincial Election: election signs collected by the City of Oshawa must be retrieved on or before June 9, 2022. Retrieval of signs must be arranged with Service Oshawa in cooperation with Municipal Law Enforcement and Licensing Services. For more information, contact Service Oshawa.
