The City of Oshawa has retained the Design-Build Team of Cambridge Landscaping & Construction and Water’s Edge Environmental Solutions Team to complete the Design-Build of the realignment of Farewell Creek in the area approximately 450 metres east of Grandview Street South. This realignment of the creek implements and further improves on an alternative in the 2016 Palmer Environmental Consulting Group Inc. - Fluvial Geomorphological Assessment of Farewell Creek to Support the Evaluation of Erosion Mitigation Strategies at Augusta Court. Cambridge Landscaping & Design and Water’s Edge Environmental Solutions Team will present the evolution of the design for realignment of Farewell Creek as a follow up to the public consultation held in July 2017.
The virtual Public Consultation will present the information regarding the proposed realignment of Farewell Creek in the area adjacent to Augusta Court in order to mitigate erosion onto private lands.
Community members are invited to submit feedback directly to the contacts listed on this webpage.
Feedback will be received until noon on Friday, August 6, 2021.
