Video Recording and Photography Policy |
The City of Oshawa has introduced dedicated areas for video recording and photography during Council and Standing Committee meetings. The designated areas will ensure that those in attendance, including the public, City staff and Council members, can hear and view the meetings. In the Council Chamber, the public and media seating areas southeast of the main walkway are designated for video recording and photography. In the Committee Room, the public and media seating areas are designated areas for video recording and photography. The Chair of the meeting may also authorize an alternate location within the Council Chamber or Committee Meeting Room for video recording and photography. The Chair of the meeting continues to have authority over video recording and photography and may impose additional restrictions should the video recording or photography create a disruption, interfere with the conduct of the meeting, or limit the ability of others to hear or view the meeting. |
