If a person wishes to run as a candidate in the 2022 Municipal & School Board Elections, they must file a nomination with the City Clerk. The nomination period opens Monday, May 2, 2022 and continues until Nomination Day, Friday, August 19, 2022.
Prospective candidates must complete the required forms from the Candidate Information Package and then file their nomination according to the Nomination Process.

A candidate’s campaign period commences on the day they file a nomination with the City Clerk and ends on January 3, 2023. A candidate must file a nomination paper before any campaign activity commences; this includes raising campaign funds or incurring campaign expenses.
