Building Services

Building Permit and Inspection Services staff oversee and enforce the Ontario Building Code Act in order to make sure our buildings are safe, healthy and accessible where we live, work and play.

Economic Development

The Economic Development Office (E.D.O.) provides information and services to help your business grow and prosper in Oshawa. Let us be your first point of contact for business development. From real estate professionals and site selectors to business owners, our team can help facilitate your project and expedite the site selection process.

Engineering Services

The Engineering Services branch is in charge of the management of the City of Oshawa's municipal infrastructure such as bridges, roads and sewers; and environmental features such as storm water ponds and creek bank protection.

Planning Services

Planning Services is responsible for all land use, policy and development activities for the City.
