Celebrate Arts, Culture and Heritage in Oshawa with Culture Days
The City of Oshawa invites community members to celebrate Culture Days this fall. Join us for a variety of activities on Saturday, October 14 at Ed Broadbent Waterfront Park and South Oshawa Community Centre.
Artist talk with photographer Shay Conroy
Photographer Shay Conroy will be discussing her outdoor photography exhibit Port of Prosper featuring large-scale photographs that explore the industrial side of Oshawa’s waterfront.
Location: Ed Broadbent Waterfront Park, 169 Harbour Rd.
Time: 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Family-friendly drop-in activities
Take part in family friendly activities at the South Oshawa Community Centre!
Visit interactive booths from We Grow Food, the Oshawa Museum and Oshawa Public Libraries.
Participate in activities from our Call for Artist-Initiated Projects including:
- a Chinese peony painting workshop with local artist Ting Chen, registration is required by emailing [email protected].; and,
- a drip mural and augmented reality experience and artist talk with artist duo Amy Shackleton and Julian Brown from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Time: 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
