Celebrate Oshawa’s history and culture with Culture Days and Doors Open
The City of Oshawa invites community members to celebrate Culture Days and Doors Open this fall. As part of this year’s festivities, we encourage community members to take part in a variety of virtual and in-person activities.
Culture Days
The City of Oshawa invites you to join us in celebrating Culture Days, Saturday, September 24. Culture Days is a national celebration of arts and culture, providing free participatory arts and culture events across the country.
Visit the Donevan Recreation Complex Urban Art Park from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. to see a live street art painting event and take part in free family-friendly art activities, with the LivingRoom Mobile Art Studio.
You can also pick-up a free public art activity kit. Each kit includes a walking tour map of public art in Oshawa, along with all the art supplies necessary to follow along with the sketch, sculpt, and colour prompts that accompany each work on the route.
