Lane restrictions on Simcoe St. N. until November 1

The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Simcoe Street North.

When: October 1 to November 1, 2024. Daytime only. Unfavourable weather conditions and the Region’s contractor schedule may influence the work schedule.

Where:  Simcoe Street North (Regional Road 2), from 250 metres south of Windfields Farm Drive to Windfields Farm Drive, in the City of Oshawa.

Why: Daily lane restrictions will be required for the duration of the project to safely construct a turning lane and new entrance to support development.

The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of work crews.
