Culture Summit
The annual Culture Summit program is an opportunity to provide updates on cultural activities in the City, while creating learning exchange opportunities for cultural workers and supporters in the community. It is an opportunity to engage and connect members of Oshawa's arts and culture sector, and review the City's progress towards implementing our arts and culture strategic plan, Culture Counts: Oshawa's Arts, Culture and Heritage Plan.
Thank you to everyone who attended the 2022 Culture Summit at the Arts Resource Centre on October 26! We enjoyed performances by All Our Relations Métis Drum Circle and Durham Shoestring Performers, a talk by guest speaker Bernard Leroux founding President of the Oshawa and Durham Métis Council and Professor of Media Art and Design at Durham College for over 12 years, and a visual arts workshop with Margaret Rodgers, the City of Oshawa's 2022 Culture Counts Professional Artist award winner.
Culture Report
Each year we produce and circulate a Culture Report. This document provides insight into cultural and community programs and events the City offered and partnered on throughout the year.
