Recreation Facility Status

While the City works to ensure facilities are open as expected, maintenance, weather and unforeseen incidents sometimes require closures. Search to view the status of any City recreation facility.

Current facility and program changes

Please note that program schedules may change on holidays, during special events or due to temporary closures. Changes to our facilities and programs, such as leisure swimming, playground program and facility amenities (e.g. sauna, walking track, pool lifts, Civic Dome), are posted on Service Disruptions.

Delpark Homes Centre Splash Pad closed

The Delpark Homes Centre splash pad is closed for maintenance. 

Donevan Recreation Complex Pool closed

The Donevan Recreation Complex pool is closed until further notice.

As a result of this closure:

• All leisure swims scheduled at the Donevan Recreation Complex Pool have been cancelled until further notice.
• All swimming lessons scheduled at the Donevan Recreation Complex Pool have been moved to the Delpark Homes Centre. Swimming lesson participants will be contacted with additional details. 
• All aquatic leadership courses scheduled at the Donevan Recreation Complex Pool have been moved to either the Civic Recreation Complex or South Oshawa Community Centre. Participants will be contacted with additional details. 
• The Civic Recreation Complex Pool will be running a modified leisure swim schedule.

South Oshawa Community Centre water slide closed

The water slide located at the South Oshawa Community Centre will be unavailable until further notice for repairs. Due to this service disruption, the slide will be unavailable during fun swims and pool parties. 

South Oshawa Community Centre leisure swim cancellations

The South Oshawa Community Centre pool will be unavailable from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on June 11 and June 18. As a result, all leisure swims scheduled during this time will be cancelled.
