While the City works to ensure facilities are open as expected, maintenance, weather and unforeseen incidents sometimes require closures. Search to view the status of any City recreation facility.

Please note that program schedules may change on holidays, during special events or due to temporary closures. Changes to our facilities and programs, such as leisure swimming, playground program and facility amenities (e.g. sauna, walking track, pool lifts, Civic Dome), are posted on Facility, Parks and Program Updates.

Playground Program inclement weather cancellations - August 8

All afternoon Playground Program locations will be cancelled for Monday, August 8, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. due to inclement weather. Afternoon locations include:

All morning Playground Program locations will be cancelled for Monday, August 8, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. due to inclement weather.

Status updates on any further cancellations for afternoon Playground Program locations will be available here.

Service Disruption: Civic Dome closed August 5

The Civic Dome located at the Civic Recreation Complex will be closed for the remainder of the day, Friday, August 5 due to the elevated temperatures. As a result of this closure, all permitted rentals and bookings for the indoor track, tennis courts and squash courts at the Civic Recreation Complex will be cancelled until Saturday, August 6.
