The City of Oshawa offers several options to complete your registration or booking for recreation and culture programs or services.

Online
Online registration is quick and convenient, and registration confirmation is immediate. Visit the activeOshawa Online website to get started.
To complete your registration or booking, you will be required to log in to your activeOshawa account.
- If you do not have an activeOshawa account, you can create a new account.
- If you have forgotten your password, you can request a password reset.
- If you have an existing activeOshawa account but have not activated it for online use you can activate your account for online use.

In-person
Visit the Civic Recreation Complex, Delpark Homes Centre, Donevan Recreation Complex, or South Oshawa Community Centre to complete your registration or booking in person. Confirmation of your registration or booking is immediate.
These locations accept cash, debit, Visa, American Express, MasterCard and cheques payable to the City of Oshawa as payment methods.
Mail or fax
Mail or fax your completed Course Registration Form to a recreation facility. Forms must include credit card details under the method of payment section.
You will receive the confirmation of your registration by email or mail. If confirmation of your registration does not arrive within one week of the program start date, please contact a recreation facility to confirm your registration.
Registration information
Age requirements |
All program participants must be the minimum age for the program by the program start date. A parent or legal guardian must register participants under the age of 18. |
Overdue invoices and accounts |
Interest charges will apply to any outstanding balance that is 30 days overdue, determined by the invoice date. Interest charges are at a rate of 1.25% monthly and are applied to the overdue invoice on the first day of each month until full payment is received. |
Program fees and H.S.T. |
The total program fee is due at the time of registration. Cash, debit, Visa, American Express, MasterCard, and cheques payable to the City of Oshawa are accepted methods of payment. Any program for participants ages 14 years and older is H.S.T. taxable. All fees in the activeOshawa Guide include material fees, award fees, and applicable taxes. When completing your registration online, the total program fee, including taxes, will appear at checkout. All fees are subject to change. Program registrations after the first day of the program will have program fees pro-rated. |

Course Registration Forms are available at all recreation facilities, or view, download, or print the Course Registration Form online. A Course Registration Form is not required when registering online. |
Returned payments |
A $40 administration charge is applied to your account for any payments returned by your bank. You will be required to provide an alternative method of payment for your program fee. You will not be able to complete any further purchases until we receive your repayment. |
