Car Seat Clinics
It is estimated that over 75% of child deaths and injuries due to motor vehicle collisions could be prevented with the proper installation and use of car seats.
Your child's safety is important to us. Attend one of our free drop-in car seat clinics and our firefighters will help ensure that your child is buckled up safely.
Drop-in Car Seat Clinics
- Saturday, March 23 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Fire Station 6 (2339 Simcoe St N)
- Saturday, June 22 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Fire Station 2 (1111 Simcoe St S)
- Saturday, September 21 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Fire Station 5 (1550 Harmony Rd N)
- Saturday, November 23 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Fire Station 1 (199 Adelaide Ave W)
Those interested in attending should:
- Have the car seat(s) installed in the vehicle at time of arrival.
- Bring the manuals for the car seat(s) and the vehicle.
- Bring the child(ren) who ride(s) in the seat(s) to the clinic so they can be properly sized.
