Youth in Oshawa can get active with the Teen Weight Training and the Grade 5 Action Pass.
Learn how to build muscle, gain strength and endurance and whip yourself into shape! This 4-hour program includes fitness equipment orientations, education on safe fitness programs, training techniques and fitness centre etiquette. Take a look at the Teen Weight Training Manual.
Youth between the ages of 13 to 17 must register, participate in and successfully complete the Teen Weight Training (T.W.T.) course in order to use City of Oshawa fitness centres.
The Teen Weight Training course is free to members. A minimum purchase of a 1-month Level 2 membership for $42.82 is required to register. The start date of the membership will begin upon successful completion of the T.W.T. course.

All Grade 5 students in Oshawa are eligible to receive this pass, which has all the benefits of a Level 1 Membership. This pass allows the students to:
Your postcard will be given out in your class at the beginning of the school year or visit this link to print your postcard. Then visit a City of Oshawa Recreation Facility to register and receive your pass. Remember to bring proof of your date of birth and address when signing up for your Grade Five Action Pass. Pass is valid for the length of the school year.
