How do I use it?
What will I need to sign up for programs online? |
To register online for a program or service with activeOshawa or the Oshawa Senior Community Centres you will require an email address which you will use to login, your full address, telephone number and names and birth dates of all members to be entered on the account. |
Are you an OSCC55+ member but not sure if your email is linked with our new online registration? |
Do you register for courses online? If so, please ensure that your email address is up-to-date in our new program registration system. To confirm your email is registered in the program registration system, go to register.oshawa.ca and:
Please note that our ‘News and Alerts’ emails are housed on a separate database than our registration system. Though you are receiving this email, it does not guarantee we have your correct email in our program registration database. We recommend that online registration users update their account by Friday June 7, 2019 to ensure a smooth online registration process on Monday June 10 beginning at 9 a.m. |
I don't have email. Can I still register online? |
To register for an activeOshawa or the Oshawa Senior Community Centres program you must have an email address to access your account online. Alternatively, registrations will still be accepted in person at any recreational facility or OSCC 55+ branch. |
Can I still register in-person? |
Yes, customers will still have the option to register for programs in person or online. |
How do I get started? |
Your email address will now become your login I.D. and you will get to create your own password. Please stop by any of our City of Oshawa recreation facilities, Service Oshawa or Oshawa Senior Community Centres branches to verify and update your account information. |
I did not receive an email to reset my account password. What should I do? |
Please call Service Oshawa at 905-436-3311 or the Oshawa Senior Community Centres (OSCC 55+) at 905-576-6712 or stop by a recreation facility or OSCC 55+ branch. |
What if I have a credit or outstanding balance on my account? Can I use it? |
Yes, credit and balances on accounts will be transferred over. |
Why change to a new registration software? |
Our old registration system was in place for over 20 years. With evolving program offerings and pass types though activeOshawa and the Oshawa Senior Community Centres, our programs and services outgrew the functionality of the registration system. The new software provides more flexibility and functionality moving forward to ensure ease-of-use for online registration. |
Why this software? |
The IntelliLeisure™ software was selected following a thorough procurement process for its ability to support current and future needs of Oshawa's residents. The program will provide increased versatility and better navigation to enhance the customer experience. The new online registration software is also adaptable to incorporate technological advancements in the future. |
Will my activeOshawa or Oshawa Senior Community Centres account work in the new system? |
activeOshawa or OSCC 55+ customers who have registered in a program within the past year will have their account information transferred over. |
What if use both activeOshawa and Oshawa Senior Community Centres programs? Do I need two accounts? |
You will only need one account login. The accounts will operate individually but will use the same login (email & password) information. For example if a person wishes to access an activeOshawa program they will login. If they are also interested in registering for an Oshawa Senior Community Centres program they will visit their website and use the same login information to sign up for their program. |
How do I update my payment info? |
In the transition to the new software, for security reasons we were not able to transfer pre-authorized payments. To update your payment details please contact Service Oshawa or visit any of our City of Oshawa recreation facilities or Oshawa Senior Community Centres branches. |
Can children be on two different accounts? |
Yes, each child will have their own client record that can then be attached to parent accounts. |
How do I use it? |
Easily browse and register for programs through the online registration portals for activeOshawa or Oshawa Senior Community Centres. Search by category, age group, or course id# and simply follow the instructions as you go! |
