The City of Oshawa Events team invites food vendors to apply for space at our Peony Festival, Canada Day and The Bright and Merry Market events. As this year is Oshawa's Centennial Celebration, event space rental fees have been waived. Licensing fees are still applicable.

In anticipation of Oshawa's Centennial Anniversary we are now recruiting volunteers to help us! The upcoming event season will be an exciting one! There's something for everyone!

The City of Oshawa hosts numerous free events for the community. In addition, there were over 400 events hosted in our community by other event organizers! Our city is a vibrant, rich, diverse community that has so much to offer! If you are hosting an event, be sure to check out our Host an Event page, and post it on our free Events Calendar listing.

Join us on March 8 for our Official Centennial Celebration event, free swims and skates sponsored by Oshawa Power and a commemorative flag raising.

Join the Mayor’s Cleanup events and help beautify your community. Volunteer your time and make a difference in local parks, green spaces, trails, and schoolyards.
20th Annual Festival
Dates: June 8 and June 9
Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.*

Location: Cenotaph, 110 Simcoe St. S.
This ceremony is led by The Royal Canadian Legion Branches 43 and 637 in partnership with the City of Oshawa.

The City of Oshawa hosts open, free public events. Photographers will be present taking photos and video footage at these events. These images may be used without further notification on City-owned and non-City-owned property, print media, digital media, the Internet, social media sites, media releases and broadcasts.
