On Wednesday, July 1, park redevelopment construction activities at Easton Park (900 Adelaide Ave. E.) may result in increased noise levels.
The City of Oshawa will be hosting the annual Canada Day Celebration at Lakeview Park with road closures and lane restrictions.
Work continues on the reconstruction and widening of Conlin Rd. E. from east of Harmony Rd. N. to Kurelo Dr., as well as the construction of a new roundabout at Grandview St. N. and Conlin Rd. E. Full road closures will continue to be in effect during construction.
Construction of an accessible pathway will begin in July to connect Knights of Columbus Park from the existing Farewell Street parking lot.
In observance of Canada Day on Wednesday, July 1, City recreation facilities will operate on modified hours.
Centre St. S. is closed between King St. W. and John St. W. and Metcalfe St. between Centre St. S. and Simcoe St. S. on Sunday, June 21 for Fiesta Concert and Street Festival.
The Civic Recreation Complex pool will be closed for annual maintenance June 8 and will reopen June 18.
From May 4 to October 15, 2026, traffic line painting will occur on various roadways and intersections, primarily on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The City of Oshawa will be replacing existing pathway surfaces as well as completing minor repairs and improvements throughout Lakeview Park. This project is anticipated to be completed this fall. The work will be done in a phased approach to limit user impact.
Renaissance Park playground is closed effective immediately due to ponding water and will remain closed until further notice.
