Conlin Rd. E. reconstruction and widening and Grandview St. N. roundabout construction

Work continues on the reconstruction and widening of Conlin Rd. E. from east of Harmony Rd. N. to Kurelo Dr., as well as the construction of a new roundabout at Grandview St. N. and Conlin Rd. E.

What: The project includes the reconstruction and widening of Conlin Rd. E. from east of Harmony Rd. N. to Kurelo Dr. as well as the construction of a new roundabout at Grandview St. N. and Conlin Rd. E.

Additional improvements include a new storm sewer along Conlin Rd. E., a new multi-use pathway on the south side of Conlin Rd. E. from Coppermine St. to Kurelo Dr., a new sidewalk on the north side of Conlin Rd. E. from Harmony Rd. N. to west of Kurelo Dr.

There will also be work on Regional infrastructure including a new watermain near Harmony Rd. N., Coppermine St. and Cayenne St. and new sanitary sewer at Coppermine St.

When: August 2025 to December 2026

Please exercise caution around the construction site. Please be advised that pedestrian access through the construction site is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized entry by pedestrians or vehicles into the work area is not permitted under any circumstances. These measures are in place due to safety risks posed to both residents and the Contractor, and full compliance is expected.

Work schedule:

The City’s contractor, Limen Group (formally Graham Bros.) began work in August 2025 on Phase 1A of the project on Conlin Road East from Grandview Street North to Kurelo Drive as well as the new roundabout at Grandview Street North and Conlin Road East. The work on Phase 1A will be completed in the summer of 2026.

Phase 1B of the project on Conlin Road East from east of Harmony Road North to west of Grandview Street North is planned to begin in July 2026 and is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2026.  

What to expect:

Full road closures will continue to be in effect during construction of Phase 1B:

• Conlin Road East will be closed from Harmony Rd. N. to the west of the new Grandview St. N. and Conlin Rd. E. roundabout for the Phase 1B work. Conlin Rd. E. will not fully close at Coppermine St. until the Grandview St. N. roundabout is open in the north south direction.

Unfavourable weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances may impact the work schedule.
