Fitness with the City

The City of Oshawa operates fitness centres at the Civic Recreation Complex, Delpark Homes Centre and South Oshawa Community Centre. Access is restricted to Level 2 and All-Inclusive membership holders or those who have paid applicable admission fees. Advance booking is not required to visit our fitness centres.

What we offer

We offer complimentary tours, demonstrations, and information workshops to help you get started with your fitness goals, increase your understanding of where equipment is and how to use it so you feel safe and comfortable. Visit a fitness centre today to get started.

All of our fitness centres have certified personal trainers supervising the centre, and have accreditations through organizations such as Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (C.S.E.P.), CanfitPro, Certified Professional Trainers Network (C.P.T.N.).

Youth between the ages of 13 and 17 years, must register and complete the Teen Weight Training Course to work out in one of our fitness centres. Learn more on our Teen and Youth Fitness Programs webpage.
