Playground Program
The Playground Program is a free service offered by the City of Oshawa. Play Leaders provide fun and engaging opportunities for children aged five to 12 years at various park locations. Participants will play games, make crafts and enjoy other activities.
Children can come and go as they wish with parent/guardian permission. Playground staff are not responsible for children once they leave the play area. Please note washrooms are not available.
All participants must fill out camper forms before participating in the program. Forms are available online on our Camps webpage or can be completed in person on the first day of the program.
Locations are subject to change/cancellation based on low attendance, inclement weather and heat alerts.
Inclement weather and heat alerts
Playground Program locations may be closed when inclement weather occurs. If Environment Canada issues a Heat Alert, Playground Program locations without adequate shade will close for the day. Participants should wear sunscreen, hat and bring a water bottle.
