Tracks Indoor and Outdoor
The City of Oshawa has two indoor tracks and one outdoor track available Level 1 members and through general admission fees.
Indoor Track - Civic Recreation Complex

Features
The indoor track at the Civic Recreation Complex is located in the Civic Dome and is a four lane, 225 m rubberized surface, making it a popular training facility for track clubs and sports teams. Any club that wishes to train on the track must apply to reserve a lane. There are designated times for team usage. Space is limited and teams will only be admitted if they have a permit for use.
- Seven laps equals one mile, 4.5 laps equals one kilometre
- Lane one and two are for walking or jogging, and lanes three and four running or jogging
- Track users will be directed upon arrival as to the direction for walking or running on the track
Hours of operation
- Monday to Friday: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
A dome closure may occur when inside temperatures exceed 30 °C. Please contact the Civic Recreation Complex for updates.

- Indoor track is a two lane, 130 m walking track
- 13 laps equal one mile, eight laps equal one kilometre
- Signage will be posted to tell users which direction to walk on the track

- Monday to Friday: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

An eight lane, 400 m Mondo track. The outdoor track is a pay-per-use facility. It is also ideal for hosting large track events
- Four laps equal one mile, 2.5 laps equal one kilometre

Anyone interested in the outdoor track for a track and field meet must complete the Track and Field Application Form.
