Business Licensing By-law

The following notice is being made pursuant to Section 6.0 of the City of Oshawa's Public Notice Policy (GOV-23-02) requiring notice on the passing or amending of a licensing by-law under Section 150 of Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25.

The Council of the City of Oshawa will consider passage of a by-law to amend Business Licensing By-law 122-2024, following direction received through Report SF-25-35. The by-law will be available as of September 24, 2025, with a digital copy available through the September 29, 2025 Council Meeting page at oshawa.ca or a physical copy available at Service Oshawa (50 Centre Street South, Oshawa).

When: September 29, 2025 - 9:30 a.m.

Where: City Hall, Council Chamber, 50 Centre Street South, Oshawa

How: Individuals wishing to submit correspondence or address Council on the matter must submit their request in writing to the City Clerk. Submissions can be made by mail to The City of Oshawa, 50 Centre Street South, 5th Floor, Oshawa ON, L1H 3Z7 or by email at clerks@oshawa.ca no later than 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
