Oshawa City Hall and Service Oshawa to reopen

Oshawa City Hall and the Arts Resource Centre will reopen tomorrow, Saturday, October 18, following the recent watermain break.

Effective Saturday October 18, all in-person services will resume according to regular operating hours. City Hall will also return to normal operations as per its regularly scheduled business hours.

Service Oshawa City Hall (50 Centre St. S.) regular operating hours:

• Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
• Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

City Hall departments operate Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Service Oshawa also remains available to customers by telephone, email and live chat.

Please note: All regularly scheduled programming at the Arts Resource Centre was not impacted and will continue as planned.

What: Oshawa City Hall (50 Centre St. S.) and the Arts Resource Centre (45 Queen St.) are temporarily closed to the public until further notice due to an extensive nearby watermain break and related water issues.

Details: The Regional Municipality of Durham reports its Oshawa Depot is responding to a 500 mm watermain break at 441 Adelaide Ave. E. in Oshawa. Further updates will be provided as they become available.
