Remembrance Day service updates
November 11 is Remembrance Day, a time to honour members of the armed forces who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. This year also marks the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
One of the many ways community members can observe this day is by attending the Remembrance Day Parade and Service at Oshawa’s Memorial Park. Rogers Durham will also broadcast the event live. To learn more about this event, visit oshawa.ca/Remembrance.
Be sure to review City closures and service changes that may affect you this Remembrance Day.
