The countdown is on for Oshawa’s Bright and Merry Market

The wait is almost over! The City of Oshawa’s Bright and Merry Market, presented by Enbridge, returns on Friday, November 14 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at City Hall’s Civic Square and along Centre Street, from King Street to Memorial Park at John Street.

Celebrate the start of the holiday season with an evening of twinkling lights, festive entertainment and holiday cheer. Enjoy live performances, family-friendly activities, and a special visit with Santa. Don’t miss the official tree lighting ceremony at 8 p.m. in Memorial Park!

The market will feature local vendors offering handmade gifts, décor and seasonal treats, making it the perfect opportunity to shop local and support small businesses this holiday season. Full event details are available at oshawa.ca/Merry.

Event partners—including the Oshawa Public Libraries - McLaughlin Branch, Oshawa Senior Community Centres 55+, The Robert McLaughlin Gallery and St. George's Memorial Church—will also host holiday-themed activities, crafts, food and entertainment throughout the evening.

Visitors are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation to support Feed the Need in Durham. Donation bins will be located at City Hall, The Robert McLaughlin Gallery, and Oshawa Public Libraries - McLaughlin Branch, during the event.

The City’s 2025 Bright and Merry Market is made possible through event sponsors Renewal by Anderson, Ontario Motor Sales and TD.
