The City of Oshawa has awarded Contract No. O 25-06 to Fidelity Engineering and Construction. The work will include replacement of the Pedestrian Bridge along the Joseph Kolodzie Oshawa Creek Trail, just South of Bloor St..

Where: Joseph Kolodzie Oshawa Creek Trail Closure from the North side of Bloor St. to Erie St., for the replacement of the Pedestrian Bridge.

Work Schedule

The City’s contractor, Fidelity Engineering and Construction, will commence work on or about October 20, 2025. The work is expected to be completed by February 13, 2026. Unfavourable weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances may impact the work schedule.

How will this work affect you?

For public safety, construction will include trail closures from the North side of Bloor St. to Erie St., for the replacement of the Pedestrian Bridge.

Heavy equipment will need to access the site from Bloor St. East and associated noise levels may increase during these times.

Regular work hours will take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, October 20, 2025 to February 13, 2026 Please exercise caution around the construction site.
