The Robert McLaughlin Gallery invites the community to an artist talk with internationally exhibited LEGO artist Ekow Nimako, in conversation with writer and educator Ashley Marshall. The discussion will explore Afrofuturism, Black civilizations, and contemporary art practices.

Trent University – Black History Month: Healing & Community
Trent University Durham, in partnership with the City of Oshawa and Canadian Mental Health Association Durham, invites the community to a gathering centred on healing, reflection, and connection. The event includes a panel discussion on Black mental health followed by celebratory drumming and refreshments.
