Pride swim

We are celebrating pride month and Recreation & Parks Month with a free fun swim from 7:15 p.m. to 9 p.m. on June 12 at Delpark Homes Centre. This is a safe and inclusive space for all 2SLGBTQ + community members, as well as their friends and allies, to enjoy a splash in the pool!

Open Doors, Open Hearts: Pride Studio Day

An open-door creative celebration honouring Pride Month. Guests are invited to explore the studio, meet others and experience works that reflect the beauty, resilience and diversity of 2SLGBTQ+ communities. Expect a vibrant mix of art, conversation and community connection in a welcoming, inclusive space.

Pride events across Durham

Join the Oshawa Public Libraries and create wearable art to show your pride all year long! Make buttons, 3D art, keychains, and more. All ages. Drop-in.

Looking for a Pride service? Join Pride Durham for a special Multifaith Service hosted in partnership with Affirming Worship Durham Region. This brief but meaningful gathering is a chance to celebrate faith, community, and Pride in a safer, inclusive space.

All are welcome — whether you’re spiritual, religious, questioning, or just seeking a moment of reflection. This service will feature messages of hope, love, and affirmation from a variety of faith traditions that support and celebrate the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

Youth Pride Durham is a friendly, inclusive celebration for youth, children and families who are part of 2SLGBTQI+ communities. Allies are welcome to join.

This free event champions acceptance through an afternoon of:

  • Community organizations and agencies sharing information and providing support in the Resource Village
  • Drag performances
  • A magic show
  • Catchy tunes from DJ Psi
  • Face painting, popcorn and cotton candy

The first-ever North Durham Pride Country Festival in Port Perry replaces the previous Scugog Pride Celebration with a community-focused event celebrating the region’s unique culture, agricultural roots, and small-town pride. Attendees can enjoy a full day of entertainment, local flavours, games, and vibrant displays of 2SLGBTQIA+ pride, providing an inclusive space for residents and visitors to connect and experience the heart and spirit of North Durham.
