Weight Restrictions

There are three types of weight restrictions on City of Oshawa roads:

1. Half load restrictions - seasonal
   • Annually, from March 1 to approximately April 30 commercial vehicles and trailers are restricted to load limitations of five tonnes per axle on roads under the jurisdiction of the City of Oshawa where signs to that effect are displayed
   • These restrictions are pursuant to Section 110 and 122 of the Highway Traffic Act (R.S.O. 1990)
