The Civic Recreation Complex is Durham Region's most diverse recreation facility and a premier sporting destination. We proudly host local, provincial, and national sporting events throughout the year while offering recreation opportunities for residents of all ages. The facility features five outdoor sports fields, including two artificial turf fields, a full-size indoor multi-purpose fieldhouse, an indoor walking/running track, an eight-lane, 400-metre World Athletics-standard outdoor track and field facility with dedicated areas for high jump, long jump, pole vault, shotput, discus, and javelin events, a swimming pool, fitness centre, indoor tennis and squash courts, and an outdoor playground.
A variety of recreation programs, swimming lessons, camps, and seasonal activities are offered throughout the year, including the Oshawa Indoor Soccer League (O.I.S.L.) .
Matchpoint Tennis Pro Shop operates at the Civic Recreation Complex and offers tennis equipment sales, racquet stringing, private and group lessons, house leagues, singles ladders, round robins, drills, aerobics, and complimentary skill evaluations.
